Pure Heart for Dreaming

White Heart

When you think about your future, how do you approach it?  Do you take into account your relationships, job status, current rate of savings?  The sum of these factors creates a vector, a direction your life is pointing, starting now.  If you find that it’s not going the way you desire, the correct response is to change what you can now and switch directions.  This is the pathway to your dreams.

Most certainly, particular attitudes(and the actions they produce) will hinder or even destroy our direction.  The Bible calls it sin, missing the mark.  Sin always traps us, always imprisons us with lies.  Some of us continue to believe doctrines of demons that say, “My personal pleasure is worth more than another’s.”  When we make contracts with Hell to achieve our dreams, other people’s lives and, ultimately, our own are destroyed.

There is a better way.  Agree with God!  He designed us for great purpose.  He made us to be holy, to walk with Him.  And He has the greatest creative mind in the universe.  How great it is to be close to His heart!  We can truly operate our mind from the top of the Hill of the Lord, the place of greatest vision; to get there, we must have clean hands and a pure heart.

There is good news.  The Father has extended an invitation, and Jesus’ blood has made the way.  That blood has the power to break any lesser covenant.  When we let Him, God will fill our hearts with love and compassion.  If you find yourself trapped in bondage to sin, believe in the Name who desires the best for you.  Only He will unlock your wildest dreams.

“And may the Lord make your love for one another and for all people grow and overflow, just as our love for you overflows.  May he, as a result, make your hearts strong, blameless, and holy as you stand before God our Father when our Lord Jesus comes again with all his holy people. Amen.”–1 Thessalonians 3:12-13
