The reflection of darkness is still darkness.
No matter which way you turn the mirror, the result is always the same.
But perhaps a ray of light would be too much.
It would expose something, anything, glimpses of what you really are.
A dream of love is more than a dream.
Otherwise, it would be the greatest of deceptions.
The glimmer of hope from a forgotten kingdom remains.
Its desire is that you would remember who you were meant to be.
A radiant face is a thief of wandering eyes.
Mine seem to have found a haven, a heart whose worth exceeds gold.
When you wake up, you should look at what I’ve seen:
Your beauty, your loveliness, the treasure-light of who you really are.
“And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.”–Genesis 1:4
